The Capitol Theatre is a nonprofit community theatre holding 501(c)(3) status, so we rely on support from the community and those interested in furthering the arts. All donations and contributions are tax-deductible and our team of volunteers can work with local business contributors to maximize their exposure. With a wide range of artistic programs and events, you can either elect to provide a general donation or target your funding to specific areas of interest. Our events range from theatrical plays to music to children’s productions. Many who have roots in the Greeneville community remember the Capitol as a movie theatre and a landmark of Greeneville’s historic downtown area. Please help keep the theatre alive! Any contribution of any level is greatly appreciated.
